BENTLEY MARINE Special Aluminum Alloys

Standard in all BENTLEY YACHTS with aluminum hulls and/or superstructures, BENTLEY MARINE
Special Aluminum Alloys are up to 40% stronger than ordinary marine alloys 5083 and 5086,
25% stronger than ALUSTAR TM AA5059
and yet, up to 50% lighter.
They were purposely developed for high-speed craft to withstand the most demanding Naval
applications with no other analogues in the world.
We now offer such Special Aluminum Alloys to qualified shipyards interested in this
technology.
BENTLEY MARINE Series 61 Aluminum Magnesium Alloy System:
The Series 61 is an effective material for high - speed sea-going
crafts, such as Hydrofoils and Air Cavity, A-Foil and Unconventional Naturally Ventilated
vessels.
Alloy:
* Corrosion-resistant
* Weldable
* Easily deformed
* Thermal - non - strengthened
This special alloy with increased strength has gained over 30 years of
military service experience on sea vessels in temperatures ranging from -196șC to +70șC
under the most complex corrosion conditions.
What

ribs.

BENTLEY MARINE Series 75 Aluminum Magnesium Alloy System:
Special high-strength alloy with unique fine-grain structure for use in
high-stressed welded lightweight structures of high speed vessels.
* The alloy is thermal - non-strengthened.
* The welded joints have equal with base metal strength, don't need weld heat treatment.
* BM Series 75 alloy products have excellent corrosion - resistance against sea water,
marine fog and splashes and other complex conditions.
What
we can supply:
* Sheets (4-10) x (1200-1500) x 7000 mm pressed profiles with section up to 200 sm2
* Pressed panels - monolith with striffening ribs ("4-6) x 1600 x 6000 mm.
The high strength of semi-finished products provides a structure weight
reduction of 1,25 - 1,5 times in comparison with standard aluminum alloys.
